What is the best app for tracking nutrition and exercise?

Great question and one that we have been asked many times.
There are so many good apps now, it is hard to know which one to use.
At Fit To Be You we use the ‘myfitnesspal’ app by UnderArmour to keep track of our daily eating and exercise. ‘myfitnesspal’ is FREE and it does a great job of breaking down the calories so you can make adjustments to your diet https://www.myfitnesspal.com/.
They also have a great feature where you can scan the bar code of the food and it already has all the information in there for you. It is easy to use and has definitely helped us to identify when we needed to keep a closer eye on what we were eating. There are times when I feel that I am eating well, but it is surprising how quickly those calories add up. Keeping track of what goes into your mouth helps keep you accountable for when the weight is not coming off.
If you want to achieve your fitness goals, you must combine nutrition with exercise to get the results you want. 80% of the puzzle is nutrition and 20% is exercise… you need both to be successful.
